Core Concept
- Nuclear Submarine simulator from a first person 3D perspective.
- Move around the inside similar to the cyclops from Subnautica but with significantly less visibility to the outside.
- The exterior level is entirely separate from the ship interior (see Iron Lung.)
- It is rendered via a view screen with limited vision and a sonar capable of indicating the locations of new materials.
- There should be a slow build of tension with no major scares in the first few in game days followed by the gradual introduction of threats.
- Objects and creatures discovered in the exterior can be brought into the sub to be researched and harvested.
- However, with limited visibility you may be unable to determine how dangerous they are
(think of the alien hiding in your cargo in Scavenger SV-4.)
- Alternatively some blind analysis of the specimen collected would be more reminiscent of Carbon Steel.
You're actively in danger but must perform tests.
- There will be a repair drone to be (manually at first but later automatically) operated outside the vessel in order to repair and upgrade the submarine exterior as well as collect scrap from hard-to-reach areas.
